Proximus WiFi Booster does not work if you place it where there is no (good) WiFi signal
The Proximus WiFi Booster connects to your modem via WiFi and in turn sends out a WiFi signal. If your WiFi Booster is in a room where there is no or a weak signal, the WiFi Booster cannot connect or cannot connect properly to the modem. Your WiFi will not work or will work poorly.

The Proximus WiFi Booster also has 2 UTP outputs/ports. You can connect an internet cable to it to your Proximus TV decoder. This is where you are most likely to encounter problems. After all, video images require a heavy flow of data to your TV decoder. The Proximus WiFi Booster often cannot handle that flow of data. You notice that your image pauses, stutters or blocks appear in the image.

Ideally, the heavy flow of data traffic for video images is only sent to the device that requests it, e.g. your TV decoder Proximus or iPad. However, you cannot configure this on the Proximus WiFi Booster nor on your Proximus modem.
This means that the stream of data for video is forwarded to all devices that are connected to your Proximus WiFi Booster or modem with a data cable. It causes a storm on your network and disrupts its proper functioning.
If you use more advanced WiFi and network equipment, you can set your network in such a way that data traffic for video is only sent to the device that requests it. Your WiFi and data network will be much more stable and faster.
Tips
Place your Proximus WiFi Booster sufficiently close to your modem. Otherwise it will receive too weak a signal to work (properly).

Also try to always connect the Proximus WiFi Booster to your Proximus modem via a wired connection. This will always work better.
Install a switch between your modem and your Proximus TV decoder and ensure that you can manage it, so that the flow of data traffic for video images only goes to the devices that request it.
Do not use the Proximus WiFi Booster to connect your Proximus TV decoder. Always connect your Proximus TV decoder to the Proximus modem using a data cable.
